PUBLIC STATEMENT ON RACIST SHOOTINGS IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK
Clergy & Citizens Against Racism joins people all over the world in grief and lamentation after the racist shootings in Buffalo, New York. Racism is a denial of the image of God in our neighbors and ourselves. This attack is an affront to our holy humanity, and also to our equal dignity and equal protection under the U.S. Constitution. We stand against racism, racist indoctrination and racist complicity. We call for the uniting of the beloved community to counter racism in all its forms and to overcome evil with good.
